Digital Product Downloads

You can download your items immediately after you complete your order.

As soon as your order is completed, your internet browser will be redirected to a download page with download links for each of the digital products you have ordered.

Download Limits

This download page and its links are unique to your order. The links only work for 24 hours from the time you place your order, or, for 5 times downloaded for each item (whichever occurs first). You must download your items within that time period. After that, the links will no longer work. There are no refunds if you fail to download your items within that time period.

You can also log into your account, and download the items from you order history. The same time limitations and number of times downloaded apply there as well.

Please Make a Backup!

It's important you make a backup copy of digital downloaded products for your own security. We cannot replace products because of lost or misplaced files, customer system crashes or customer media failure.

You should make a backup copy of the digital products as soon as possible after you download them. It is best if you copy them to and archival type of digital media like a CD or DVD disc. Making a copy of the files on the same hard disk as the original is not really a backup. If the hard disk becomes useless, you have lost both the original and your backup!

Downloaded Files Are Compressed

All downloaded products are in a compressed format. Windows products are in a compressed ".zip" format and Macintosh products are in a compressed ".sit" format. In order to use the downloaded products, you must:

  1. Download and save the files on your computer.
  2. Decompress them with a decompression utility program.

If you don't have a decompression program, Stuffit Expander is a free decompressions programs for both Windows and Macintosh systems. Another great free decompression program for Windows is ZipGenious.

File Sizes and Your Internet Connection

A complete set of flags can be up to 6MB in size when it is compressed. You need to have a reasonably fast internet connection in order to download files this large in a reasonable amount of time. A cable, DSL or faster internet connection is best when downloading sets of flags. We do not assume any responsibility for your internet connection.

Once files are downloaded, they need to be decompressed. The decompressed versions will typically need 4 or 5 times the amount of disk space available as the compressed version.
