Cliptures Flags of the World

We offer illustrations of flags from around the world for countries, international organizations and some territories. Flags are available individually, in flag sets or on CD. Individual flags and flags sets are available for immediate download.

Official & Standardized Flags

Some people are not aware of this but the official height to width ratios (proportions) of flags vary from country to country. We offer flags in both their officially specified height to width ratios and also in a standardized 3:5 (3 units tall by 5 units wide) ratio.

EPS and WMF Vector Graphics

All of the flags are available as high resolution vectored format computer graphics: EPS (encapsulated postscript) in Macintosh or Windows EPS formats, and, WMF format for use with Windows software programs. These "vector" format graphics can be enlarged to any size you like while still printing at the highest resolution your printer allows.

The "Fully Loaded" Cliptures World Flags CD

The Cliptures World Flags CD includes both the Windows and Macintosh versions of all of the flags with both the WMF and EPS versions for Windows and the EPS versions for Macintosh. The CD also includes all of the flags in a bit-mapped JPG format. In addition to the colored versions of the flags, the CD also includes black & white line art (outline / coloring book) versions of each flag in each of the graphic formats.

The Cliptures World Flags CD is what is referred to as a "hybrid" disc. It has a Windows part and a Macintosh part. If you put the disc in a computer running Windows, you see the Windows versions of the flag files. If you put the disc in a computer running a Macintosh operating system, you see the Macintosh versions of the flag files.
